About Us.
SLABsense was born as a spinoff business from RAVENco. Pty Ltd, a small innovation startup in Geelong, Australia and an innovation project with a mission to significantly change how slab heave & subsidence was monitored, understood & managed.
We adopted an initial focus on the home owner experience and used first principles thinking, human-centred design and our experiences with engineers & scientists to design a simple, effective and affordable solution.
SLABsense continues to innovate and is partnering with experts in the field to deploy our existing solutions further and co-design future ones.

Prior to RAVENco. & SLABsense, Rob spent 14 years leading & designing IT services, service improvement processes & innovation activities for the Commonwealth Scientific Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO).
He is certified in Innovation, Business Design, Human-Centred Service Design, Design Thinking & Management.

In addition to being our CFO, Kylie is a Director at Davidsons, a leading accounting and business advisory firm in Geelong.
Working in public practice since 1999, she is a CPA, Associate of the Taxation Institute of Australia and holds a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in accounting and financial planning.
